WOMEN
Our heart is to disciple and equip women in all seasons of life to know encouragement, friendship, and sound teaching that points to the true source of hope – Jesus Christ, living out the Great Commission in their homes and beyond.
Is there a place for me? If that is the question behind your visit here today…simple answer, yes.
We are a community church, literally in a neighborhood of La Mirada surrounded by homes – filled with young families, singles, couples, retired women, widowed – we really have a beautiful community of women from every season.
Yes, there is a place for you here, and no matter your background or where you dream of being in the years ahead – we are here together to love in Jesus name and grow together.
Bible Study – the heart and priority of our community – We equip women to know God and His living Word. We love knowing God because from there we can have the wisdom, peace, and strength we need in our lives. Our Bible study is open to the community and women from different churches – or no church at all – attend in person and even online. A life fulfilled begins in Knowing God. The Dwelling Richly study is where we start.
Friday with Friends – social, crafting, games – have fun, laugh, and make friends – “A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.” (Proverbs 17:22) Joy and laughter with friends are God’s good gift.
Pastoral Care – in challenges and difficult seasons we need prayerful and biblical support. Contact Pastor Jennifer, she is equipped to minister with Christ-centered counsel. “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” (Galatians 6:2)
