Our beautiful and inspiring Spring Tea has been a special tradition in our women's ministries for many years, and we are excited to welcome you and your guests to this wonderful event this year with special guest speaker, Karla Downing.

Meet our Women's Pastor
Jennifer was called to La Mirada Church to serve as our Women and Children's pastor in 2016 and was ordained by the elders in 2022. With her background in music and art she helps lead worship and loves creating prayerful and worshipful events for our church family. She supports the church's graphic arts and web design needs and enjoys creating in that way and using God's gifts to bless the church's outreach.
Her heart is that women would be firm in their Christian faith by having a passion for being with the Lord through prayer and Bible study. Jennifer speaks at women's events, churches, and retreats, bringing a message of hope and pointing women to Jesus as their Savior. She writes and teaches the Dwelling Richly Community Bible studies which move thoughtfully verse-by-verse through the Bible.
She's a published author and illustrator and has produced two albums of original Scripture-based worship music. She began as an educator in the community teaching elementary-high school and directing summer day camps for kids.
"Have fun - learn a ton!" - that's Jennifer's motto in her teaching and ministry.
Jennifer and her husband, Glen, have been married since 1988 and are the proud parents of their grown son, Jonathan. They enjoy this empty nest season and love their ministry at La Mirada. She blogs at JenniferGRichmond.com
