At La Mirada Church we believe that no child is too young to understand the truths of the Bible and we teach the children that God’s Word is true and everything in it helps us know how to live out a faithful life for Him.

“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6

“I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.” Psalms 119:11

Our Children’s Ministry Team strives to teach every child foundational Biblical truths about God.  We teach verse-by-verse age-appropriate lessons that coincide with the scripture passages being taught in the main service.  Parents and children learning together can have conversations about how God’s word applies to our lives today.

“These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children.  Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.”  Deuteronomy 6:6-7
